A small Special Effect

This whas a small part of my first end of year project.

This began when I got a nice idea for a level selection, I was wondering how it would be for the level selection to be fully 3d like a room where you walk into when you decide to continue the game.

My first thing to do was to get a holographic effect into the planets, not too extreme so you could still see the planet textures.

After getting these planets in order to get the easy selection, I added the stars and the presentation in how does it pop up.
Do you need to trigger something before it shows up?
This here was a nice attempt which finally got implemented in the final “product”.
